nCino adds deposit account opening feature to banking platform
nCino has added deposit account opening to its Bank Operating System, taking the company’s cloud platform into the branch as a primary means to facilitate deposit growth.
It provides banks and credit unions a way to digitize consumers' initial experience with their financial institution and give frontline personnel a simplified, intuitive approach to the account opening process.
Salesforce ISV Sales SVP said:"Companies are looking to transform how they connect with customers, partners and employees to thrive in the age of the customer.
"By leveraging the power of the Salesforce App Cloud, nCino provides financial institutions with an exciting new way to enhance the account opening and onboarding process for customers by digitizing the experience and reducing the account opening time."
nCino's deposit account opening capabilities are designed to optimize account opening by reducing paperwork, automating formerly manual processes and shortening account opening time.
The view given to bankers allows them to better identify valuable cross-selling opportunities, facilitating increased wallet share for the institution and providing the customer with relevant, personalized offers.
nCino chief product officer Tom DiVittorio said: "Because our deposit account opening experience is fully mobile-enabled, bankers are able to engage existing and potential customers in the field through secure access on any device at any time.
"This revamped application process will transform banking and allow customers to access an application across any channel with the ability to seamlessly start, continue and complete it without having to enter the same data twice."
nCino CEO Pierre Naudé explained: "A banker's relationship with the customer starts at the account opening process, and as the rise of mobile and online banking has reduced branch foot traffic, it's become even more important for financial institutions to have a comprehensive view of that relationship.
"With deposit account opening now part of the Bank Operating System, bankers will be liberated from tedious manual processes and will instead be able to focus on what's most important: the customer."
